"The crisis of representative has begun."

Existing political culture has continued for centuries, leading to representative-centered politics. However, the new political participation of citizens began to cause changes in this political system. Citizens continued to express their opinions and began to threaten the politics of the existing conservative representatives.

The coexistence of existing representative-centered political activities and new citizen-centered political activities is a natural social appearance. However, the political society of the representative, who has represented politics for a long time, has also made the political space the exclusive property of the representative.

Through the renovation of the Seoul Metropolitan Council, we would like to present a new political space where citizens and representatives who demand today coexist in this existing representative-centered political space.
