서울의 경제를 책임지는 중심 업무 지역에서부터 버려진 도심의 모습까지, 밝은 역사와 그림자 드리운 어두운 역사를 모두 지니고있는 을지로에 현재의 모습으로, 현재를 살아가는 사람들이 필요로하는 것을 담은 앞으로의 을지로를 제안한다.

을지로의 랜드마크인 세운상가군은 많은 비판들이 있었지만 여전히 오랜 역사와 건축적 가치로 현재까지 개발, 보존되고 있다. 을지로의 시작점이라고 볼 수 있는 세운상가는 '다시 세운' 프로잭트를 통해 활발히 도시재생을 거치고 있는데 을지로 끝의 모습은 어떨까?

아직까지 소외받는 을지로의 끝자락이자 충무로로 이어지는 전환점인 곳. 제조업 보다 오랜시간을 인쇄업으로 자리를 지켜온 그 곳에 예전 을지로의 모습과 현재의 모습을 담고 도시재생으로 인해 앞으로 을지로를 찾는 다양한 업종의 생산자들과 기존 인프라를 이루는 골목 장인들, 또 이런 을지로의 변화를 체험하고자 찾아오는 관광객들이 공간의 주체로서 함께 머물며 공간을 누릴 수 있는 거점을 만들고자 한다.

Euljiro, which has both a bright history and a dark shadowy history, from the central business area responsible for Seoul's economy to the abandoned downtown, proposes Euljiro, which contains what people living in the present need, as it is.

Euljiro's landmark, Sewoon Shopping Center, has been under a lot of criticism, but it is still being developed and preserved to this day with its long history and architectural value. Sewoon Shopping Center, which can be seen as the starting point of Euljiro, is actively undergoing urban regeneration through the "Re Sewoon Project", so what about the end of Euljiro?

Euljiro, which is still neglected, is the end of Eulji-ro and a turning point that leads to Chungmu-ro. In the place where Euljiro has remained as a printing business for a longer time than the manufacturing industry, we will create a base where producers from various industries who visit Euljiro, alley craftsmen who make up the existing infrastructure, and tourists who visit Euljiro can stay together and enjoy the space.
