Gunsan's "(구)제일사료공장" is also called the "old Japanese warehouse" and is the only Japanese-style warehouse building left in Gunsan. It is a concrete and red brick building, which is said to have been mainly sold during the Japanese colonial period, and is of historical value because of the traces of the modern warehouse that formed the main scenery of Gunsan Port during the Japanese colonial period.
This project proposes a space design that preserves and restores the current remaining image of a Japanese warehouse symbolized by the memory of pain in the Japanese colonial era so that people can feel that it is a history that we should remember even if it is a painful memory.
