우리 사회는 노인을 어떤 시선으로 바라보고 있을까? 노인이 사회적 행위를 가질 수 있도록 방향을 제시해주고 있는가? 우리가 현재 가지고 있는 '노인'에 대한 편견과 선입견은 매우 강할수도 있다. 그들은 계속해서 사회와 등지고, 소통하지 않는다. 과연 노인들의 필요는 무엇일까? 필요가 건축이 되기 위해서는 현재의 상황을 이해해야한다. 사회로 나올 수 있는 환경이 제공되어지지 않기 때문에 점점 더 멀어지게 된다. 사회가 '보호대상'으로 정의내리는 그들을 감정, 행위, 소통의 주체자가 본인이 되게 하는 공간을 그린다. 필요가 행위가 되고 행위가 공간이 되는 노인수용시설을 보여준다. 누군가를 가르치고, 판매활동을 하는 노인, 온전한 그들이 그들의 주체인 공간 그리고 그안에서 생기는 무한한 소통의 겹.
노인은 더이상 보호만 받아야 하는 대상이 아니다.

It shows a facility for the elderly in which needs become actions and actions become spaces. The elderly who teach someone, do sales activities, the space where they are their subjects, and the infinite layers of communication that occur within them.
The elderly are no longer subject to protection only.
